Did Britney Spears' Camp Concoct Abuse Story?

Was last week's tabloid report about Britney Spears being abused by her boyfriend a creation of someone in the star's camp as a means of generating buzz?
Probably not, but stranger things have happened.
To be clear, we're not saying Britney Spears or Jason Trawick was in on it, or that anyone was for that matter. But it's a bit coincidental how it played out.
A Real Eye-OpenerJason Trawick-Britney Spears FIGHT!
The timing and details of this story? Awfully strange.
Flash back to last week. Star reported that Britney phoned her ex, Jason Alexander, confessing that Trawick attacked her. Radar then posted the audio.
Spears' camp decried the rumor, analysts declared the tape bogus, and Brit Tweeted that everyone involved can "kiss my lily white southern Louisiana ass!"
Then came this interesting Tweeted tidbit, too: "I'm almost done with my new album and it will be coming out this March. I AM IN L-O-V-E WITH IT!"
While it seems crazy to think Britney Spears would need fabricated gossip to get people talking about her new release, this is manager Larry Rudolph's M.O.
The puppet master is famous for planting stories - typically about who Britney's dating - and micromanaging all aspects of his client's visibility and image.
Can we see Rudolph, Alexander and Star all going in on this together, leaving Spears and Trawick in the dark? Absolutely ... think about it, all parties win.
Painting her as a sympathetic victim, then handing the floor over to Spears herself for a defiant denial and a casual announcement of the new record?
Stranger things have happened, just saying.

Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se – Review

khelein hum jee jaan se poster
Film: Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se
Cast: Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Feroz Wahid Khan, Vishakha Singh, Sikander Kher.
Rating: 35star
Director: Ashutosh Gowariker
Ashutosh Gowariker has come up with an yet another long periodic film but with a difference. The film is about the forgotten heroes of Chittagong Uprising in 1930. We have seen many films based on the freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh, Netaji Subhas Bose and Mahatma Gandhi but the battle of a school teacher, Surya Sen, was never brought on the big screen.
When you think about a periodic film during British rule, you will be thinking of some rude and rowdy British officers and some big fight between the British soldiers and the patriots. You will find the same thing here but not dramatically. Here, you will get the real feel of the story because of its realistic approach and narration style. Art director Nitin Chandrakant Desai has taken us to that era when Masterda Surya Sen planned consecutive five attacks in various important places for the British. Along with his young team of 64 people, the school teacher led the attack. It included two brave women, one is Kalpana (played by Deepika Padukone) and the other is Pritilata (Vishakha Singh).
Abhishek has done good justice to the role of Surya Sen and Vijay Maurya as one of the fighters with Sen has given yet another excellent performance. Sikander Kher has proved that he can do better in the off-beat roles. Deepika has nothing much to do but in her Bengali attire, the actress has carried off her character very well.
The kids are the best part of the story as we see them discussing the meaning of ‘Vande Mataram’. Their enthusiasm and connect with their characters make then watch worthy. Gowariker has ably brought the essence of that era in the film.
As a whole, it is a must watch film for the today’s youth, who would get to know the fighting spirit of the youth of the British era. You will not feel bored for a single moment in spite of its long duration.

Kevin Smith: Virgin America Eats It...

Kevin Smith might want to consider alternate forms of transportation.
Seriously, you can pimp out your own tour bus and just enjoy the ride, John Madden style. Sure it takes longer, but the director and air travel just don't mix.
Smith, who famously feuded with Southwest after he was kicked off a flight for being too large in February, had issues with Virgin America this time around.

BLOWING SMOKE: When it comes to flying, Kevin Smith tends to.
Smith says on his blog that he, his wife Jennifer Schwalbach, and their friend Jason Mewes arrived at New York's JFK airport in plenty of time for a flight.
"Boarding started at 11:15, and we arrived at the gate at 11:35 – a full 10 minutes before scheduled departure," Smith wrote in a blog post on Monday.
"But as we reached the gate, we saw a man closing the door ... We told him we were on the flight and he told us it was too late; the flight was closed."
"It was 11:36."
Despite having first class seats and a concierge service, officials reportedly told Smith and his party that there was nothing he could do – nor could he take their bags, which included medication Smith's wife needed, OFF the flight.
"They didn’t even TRY to call someone about getting the bags," he wrote. "The plane sat right at the jetway still attached. Our bags could've EASILY been removed in the time the jet remained at the gate (or we could’ve been permitted to board)."
Smith said he waited until 10 minutes before departure to board because, "when you fly first, you board first, sit down … and then EVERYONE files past you."
"And when you're the Too Fat To Fly guy on a plane? Well, everyone stares," he adds. "Then the whispering starts. A hundred people look right at you."
While Smith ultimately missed his flight – and his child's first basketball game at school because of the delay – he was rebooked on a later flight.
He later received a nice surprise – a "lovely, apologetic email, full refund for flight, free tix offer – all before I've landed," Smith wrote.
"I appreciate the gesture/effort."

Julian Assange, WikiLeaks Guy, Arrested For Rape

Julian Assange, the dude with the knockoff Neil Patrick Harris haircut who runs WikiLeaks, just got arrested, though not because of his controversial site.
He faces rape, sexual molestation and unlawful coercion charges in Sweden.
An Australian national, Julian Assange has reportedly been hiding in the U.K. since WikiLeaks posted a deluge of classified, explosive documents recently.

LEAK THIS: Julian Assange is in custody.
Apprehended on the charges resulting from alleged behavior in Sweden, Assange is due in court today. We know one person who's probably cackling inside.
A spokesman based at Scotland Yard confirmed that the "extradition unit" arrested Assange "on behalf of the Swedish authorities on suspicion of rape."
He's accused of "unlawful coercion, two counts of sexual molestation and one count of rape, all alleged to have been committed in August 2010."
The charges were initially made by two women Assange met on a business trip. Initially dropped, the case was just recently reopened ... stunningly.
The statement continued, "Julian Assange, 39, was arrested on a European Arrest Warrant by appointment at a London police station at 9:30 a.m.
Assange's lawyer's office was not taking calls Tuesday, but the BBC quoted his lawyer, Mark Stephens, as saying he was looking for "truth, justice."
He added that his client is cooperating fully, and that "Julian Assange has been the one in hot pursuit to vindicate himself to clear his good name."
WikiLeaks publishes highly classified documents, behavior it justifies by claiming it fosters openness and reveals illegal, immoral activity worldwide.
Critics say some of the leaked information posted on WikiLeaks may not only compromise national security, but damage international relationships.

Gloria Allred Condemns Khloe Kardashian for Rape Comment

It's a rare day when THG sides with Gloria Allred.
But it's also a rare day when a celebrity compares being screened at the airport with being raped.
That's exactly what Khloe Kardashian did on Lopez Tonight, however, prompting the following response from the attention-loving lawyer:
Gloria Allred PhotoLooking Miserable
“Rape is a crime of violence. I believe that the word should not be used loosely to describe security measures at airports or at any other place.
"I think that many victims of sexual assault who have been the true victims of men who committed that violent crime against them and who have been forced to suffer the physical and emotional harm that results from that crime would be insulted that the term would be used in the way that Ms. Kardashian used it."

Sanjay Dutt Said Yes To ‘No Problem’ In 10 Minutes!

sanjay dutt car 475x355Sanjay Dutt aka ‘Sanju baba’ of Bollywood, has been doing quite good in the comedy roles for the past few years and that has made filmmakers to approach him with lot of comic roles. His next comic flick ‘No Problem’ also stars another veteran powerhouse actor Anil Kapoor with whom he is working for the first time in a full-fledged film.
Director Anees Bazmee approached Dutt with the script of the film when Sanjay was shooting for Blue in Krabi Island (Thailand). Sources revealed that Sanjay agreed to do the film within just 10 minutes of hearing the narration of the story. Bazmee took the actor at mid-sea on his private yacht and narrated the story. As soon as Sanju agreed to be a part of the project, they had a gala dinner with everyone on the yacht and all relished some fabulous barbeque to celebrate Dutt’s working with Anees Bazmee.
Anees jokingly said that when both the superstars Anil and Sanjay share the screen they must be thinking that how the other became so big star. On the sets of No Problem, there was no problem for ‘ghar ka khana’ as Akshay Khanna used to carry the most delicious food from his house every day and others used to devour them. Sometimes, the poor Akshay was left with nothing to eat from his own ‘dabba’.
With Sanjay and Anil coming together after so many years, we can expect a big laugh riot in the form of No Problem.
